bury me in mud

trod on me with their worth

and roll on my heart

along with their goals

carrying an evaluator’s pen in hand when it’s not in a pocket

recorded for eternity

hidden from my eyes

disguised under a cloud of ___directed words

sometimes

a lyric

or a hook

a painting

an outlawed statement

a child’s wisdom

a loving heart

a verse

A quote

A memorial

A teacher

will hydrate my withering value

reflected in a signature’s request of a ghosted document

my value buried deeep in that mud

until one day

All of the noise

And All of the words

And All of the piety

And all of the doubt

find the grace of allowance

defying the smothering that tempered radicalized seed

lives, spouts

grows in spite of

because of

alongside her

reflected value

thanks to the farmer

the watcher

the giver

who knows and tends (regardless of what the plant’s manager may have to say about outcomes)

they understand the process

the elements

the worth the value of the seed

my seed your seed our seed

& my capacity to bloom and my bloom will empower

so very many more blooms

if I survive through so very many others’ - disguised as +

we will have a better world for each and every one of our children

given the chance
