forbidden feelings

joy is embraced

happiness is blessed

hope is cherished

optimism is valiant

but

painful emotions

those are the ones to hide from this world

the world does not accept those

so

please

take

your

sorrow

take your remorse

take

your

wounds

your

scars

your bleeding heart

and bandage them alone

do this in a corner of a room

where noone else can be contaminated

and children

i am so sorry that the world is this way

because emotions are to be felt

and expressed

and worked through

so they construct

something new

something wonderful

i'm just so sorry that this construction

must be done alone

at the moment

because our world

only wants smiles

and not tears
